I recently started getting morpheus8 done I bought a package for 5 sessi so far Ive had two sessions completed my recent one about 3 weeks ago After two sessions I haven't really noticed much of a difference really after researching for years for a solution for my acne scars I came across morpheus8 and after talking to aesthetician she said after 5 treatments Ill be satisfied with my results but having done 2 I've seen nothing How many sessions will I really need and how much improvement can I c

Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in.

Thank you for your question! Morpheus will improve acne scaring, however it will never make them go away. I would do the recommended treatment series and then compare your before and after photos to see improvements. Morpheus changes occur over months due to collagen stimulation. If you have concern, I recommend that you discuss them with your provider. Best of luck.

All patients with acne scarring must understand that once you have a scar ,you'll always have the scar.
What we are trying to do in treating scarring is to make it less noticeable. Morpheous8 has been a great tool to use to lessen the viability of the acne scars. I agree that it will take multiple sessions (3-5) to obtain good results. However, it will take 6-8 weeks after a treatment to begin to see the improvement. So you will not see immediate results. The results you see after the 3rd treatment are from the 1st treatment. This is a cumulative process.  Acne is an extremely difficult condition to treat and requires a realistic outlook and patients.
