Square jaw after long face syndrome treatment?

Hi I was just wondering whether I could regain the square face type I had as a child before my adolescent years where I suffered from long face syndrome. I had a very square jaw compared to most other children in my age group and everyone in my family has an attractive square jawline. Will doing a Lefort 1 impaction along with a genioplasty give me my old face back? Thanks

You would have to provide current pictures from different angles to best answer your question. But I doubt that a maxillary impaction and a chin procedure alone would produce a square jaw look. This excludes the back part of the jaw which often is the key element in making a square jaw look.

the facial shape with your facial growth pattern has a length appearance due in part to the short height of the ramus of the lower jaw. (part near the ear). increasing that height with implant augmentation will be necessary for that square look. Maxillary surgery is only part of the issue.
