Reticular veins on chest/shoulders since I was a kid, worse with age (26yo F). It's genetic (parents), EDS doesn't run in family. 5 treatments with min results. Some changed to a brown colour, some less prominent others didn't respond. Should I get ultrasound, keep injecting foam sclero or get laser done? I have TOS and spina bifida - any relation to veins? Before (bathing suit) and after (black top) pics. Morning/ when cold veins look less. Warm/working out veins look like how they did before.

Answer: Sclerotherapy for prominent veins on the chest
Venous lakes are very common on the lips (and helices of the ears). They appear as blue or purple papules (bumps). I have found that simple electrocoagulation is more efficient and effective than the vascular lasers that we have available. The lips are very forgiving areas to treat and scarring...
Scrotal veins are common especially as men age. They can be treated by sclerotherapy usually or topical laser or radiofrequency depending on their size.
Brest veins can increase with pregnancy but can also be a normal occurrence. A pregnancy test is the gold standard for pregnancy not breast veins. If the breast veins worsen then they can easily be treated by sclerotherapy.
