I am wondering if it is safe to do microneedling (needle length 3.5mm) over the surgical scars of the breast implant. Can the needle have any negative impacts on the implant?

Hi Thanks for your question. Each case is assessed on an individual basis depending on skin type and thickness. However I would imagine using a needle depth of 3.5mm would not be necessary in most cases especially on the breast area. You will achieve satisfactory results will a maximum 2.5mm. You will need a minimum of 3 treatments and the only FdA approved device on the market is SkinPen.Hope this helps.
