I had cool sculpting on my upper abdomen a few months ago. I later developed small hard lumps where the procedure was performed. Is my only option Lipo to get rid of them?

Answer: Hard lumps after Coolsculpting Lumps after coolsculpting are not unusual, but they typically go away within the first two months after the treatment. Lumps after that time are extremely rare. Answer: Have a follow up appointment with your provider. The lumps usually disappear on its own after some time. Have a follow up appointment with your provider. Sometimes different massage treatments as well as steroid injections can help. It is important to have a follow up with your provider. Good luck!

Answer: Lumps after CoolSculpting? Thank you for your question. We have performed over ten thousand CoolSculpting treatment hours, and have not seen this yet. I think that in order to give an adequate directive as to how to handle this, one would need to have an in person assessment with your CoolSculpting provider and also with your physician. Although we have never had a patient come to us with this issue, I have read about this before. In most cases, these hard lumpy areas soften and return to normal after a few months. If you feel that the lumps are not even beginning to soften, I would make an appointment with your CoolSculpting provider as soon as possible. Good luck with everything!

Answer: Lumps after CoolSculpting Lumps or nodules that are present after the CoolSculpting procedure normally disappear within weeks or months post treatment. This apparently was not the case in your situation. At our clinic, we offer Endermologie LipoMassage treatments. We especially encourage our CoolSculpting patients to follow up with Endermologie treatments because it is a known lymphatic system stimulator (which could potentially assist with the elimination of the dead fat cells). In addition, Endermologie works very well with breaking up scar tissue, increasing circulation, and smoothing lipomas (non-treatment related fat deposits). Endermologie could be a viable noninvasive, much less expensive procedure to attempt to eliminate the lumps.
