Perfect Peel - the aftercare moisturiser is burning/stinging. Anything else I can use?

Did the ‘Perfect Peel’ on Friday. I’m on day 3 - everything is going well, started peeling. Using the ‘post Peel moisturiser’ that’s in the kit - sparingly - but it’s really stinging on the skin under the peeling. Tried a little of my normal moisturiser, but that really stung too. I’m only washing with water, and carefully patting dry. The skin doesn’t look red or inflamed, it just feels very sore/stinging with any moisturiser including the one in the kit. Any suggestions? Thank you!

I would definitely be more careful in the future after a chemical peel since your skin is more sensitive and you are not supposed to be in the sun afterwards. I would consult your treating physician for assessment and guidance at this point and perhaps they will prescribe a burn cream for you ...

The neck and chest are very sensitive areas. It is not uncommon for them to become red and irrated with Retin A. I would encourage you to discuss your progress with your aesthetician to ensure this is the type of reaction she was hoping for with your treatment.
