I'm 32, 5'11 - and weight 145. My waist currently is fine to be honest but I would like some slight, very minimal liposuction to create a more inward curve to my waist. I've always had a small extra fat deposit (muffin top almost) and now that I'm gaining weight, I can see the area getting more emphasized. Would lipo be good for me. I don't need a lot removed.

Answer: Liposuction Yes, you would probably do well with liposuction to your flank areas to remove the excess fat. This could be done as awake liposuction or under general anesthesia.

Answer: Lipo There is probably some areas of fat that would be amenable to liposuction, but like you said, it is probably not a lot and how much it would help would be better judged after in person physical exam where your surgeon can feel how much extra fat there is. There are other limitations to be aware of such as the ribs and pelvis bones which are limiting factors to how narrow certain areas can get and where we can narrow. I do liposuction often though on very fit people who just have certain stubborn areas that they are concerned with and sometimes subtle changes can make the biggest difference. Hope that helps!
