Is sclerotherapy for reticular chest veins safe? Why am I getting differing opinions?

Hi everyone, I'm a 29 y/o female who has a network of veins on my chest. I'm looking to have them treated but am getting mixed responses from doctors concerning the safety of the procedure. I've been getting sclerotherapy done for my leg veins by a vascular surgeon and she advised me against doing the chest veins as they are necessary for breast health. Why am I being told this procedure is unsafe while other doctors are saying it is?
