I am looking to explant, full capsulectomy and possibly a lift. Just wondering if the lift will fix assymetry as well as making them look more perky? I've had implants for 11 years, 415cc. I don't think I have a lot of natural breast tissue. I was a small B before surgery. Full C after

I would recommend the removal and lift at the same time.  This avoids multiple procedures and recoveries.  Also, your asymmetry will not improve after removal and will still need to be corrected.  If you are not bothered by asymmetry of breast ptosis, you can just do the removal.

Hello,
You can easily undergo both breast implant replacement and mastopexy (breast lift) in the same procedure. If the implant is intact and there are no pathological changes in the capsule, complete or partial removal of the capsule is not necessary. The edges of the existing capsule can be reduced with sutures or may be cut and expanded depending on the size of the new implant. If you wish to reduce the size of the breast implant, fat injections to the upper and inner areas of the breast can be performed to add extra volume.
