Need help deciding what treatment to do for purple scars on buttocks. Is scar excision a good option? (Photo)

I have had these buttocks scars for over 5 years. I have done subcision to lift the scars up but the colour won’t go away. I have tried vbeam and pico and neither helped. A couple of surgeons have recommend scar excision. I am quite unsure of what to do next.
