I have very tight trapezius muscles and I’m considering getting Botox injected to help relax them to reduce stiffness. Will this help in the long run or have any long term benefits? I assume that since the muscle is not being used as much over a course of let’s say 2-3 years, won’t I eventually strengthen all my other muscles or get used to not depending on overactive trapezius muscles so that later on I will not need to use my traps as much resulting in less or no treatments in the future?
