However, please keep in mind that an in-person consultation with physical exam is first necessary before any legitimate evaluation or final surgical recommendations can be made. That being said, you are in good company with many other transgender patients that have successfully undergone this same combination surgery that you are inquiring about. These implants are made of soft semi-solid silicone rubber which cannot rupture or leak like silicone gel breast implants. They are thus permanent implants that never require replacement. Surgical prices vary by region, surgeon reputation, and surgical experience.  Keep in mind however that very few plastic surgeon truly specialize in intramuscular buttock implants and hip implants. The first time around (surgery) has the absolute best chance for aesthetic success. Revision  for botch-jobs are not only very expensive but extremely challenging to achieve, at minimum, a reasonable aesthetic final outcome.  Because of this, patients not infrequently have to fly long distances to have their surgery done by a board-certified plastic surgeon whom specializes in buttock implants.
