Dear Splasheavy, The lady featured on my spotlight is 68 years old. She had the butt implants surgery performed 10 years ago and is doing fine. If you are unhappy with your butt size or shape and it has an impact on your quality of life , than I recommend that you do it after getting a physical and clearance from your internist. The procedure will improve your self esteem, your confidence, your sense of femininity and will make shopping fun... You have to realize, though, that not all results are the same, because there are different implants and different techniques. Also, experience, technical skills and aesthetic eye are critical for good outcome. So, do your due diligence and choose your surgeon wisely Always, consult with experienced board certified plastic surgeons who operate in accredited surgery center for your safety. Most importantly, check the before and after pictures in the photo gallery, to make sure that they are numerous, consistent and attractive with nice 'S' curve, nice projection, round hips , low hidden single scar and natural looking. Best of luck, Dr Widder
Only if someone has medical/health problems preventing them from undergoing just about any elective surgery should they then not undergo buttock implants, at least until their health is optimized and cleared by a primary care physician. I have successfully and safely done buttock implants on all types, shapes, sizes, and ages of patients from 15 - 71 years old for both reconstructive and cosmetic purposes.
Absolutely! As long as your primary care physician signs off on your medical clearance I dont see any reason not to. You arent old and you should be happy in your skin regardless your age!
Age is not a factor so much as your overall medical health. Best to be seen in person to determine if you are a candidate. Good luck.
Hi, and thank you for the questionAge by itself its not a determining factor for that or any surgical procedure. things like your general health, risk factors (smoking, overweight, etc) and right preparation are more important. As you can understand studies and test are needed to see if you are clear for surgery but in general, if you seek the attention of a certified plastic surgeon, you should have a great result and a normal life. So feel free to contact us for further evaluation. Thank you again and have a great day
