Can you use joboba oil, or any other hair promoting products while doing laser hair removal?

Hello, I am a 19 year old male who’s on their 6th session of laser hair removal on the neck and overall face area. I was curious if I was allowed to use joboba oil as a facial oil even though I am doing laser hair treatments? I heard joboba oil promotes hair thickness, as well as any more products that promote hair growth? Thank you!

Hello, and thank you for your question. There shouldn’t be any reason why you can’t continue to use jojoba oil on your skin during laser hair removal treatments, but if you’re questioning it, run it by your provider just to be sure. The same goes for other topical products you might be unsure of using in between treatments.

I don't think there should be an issue with using jojoba oil.  In fact, if it truly does help thicken the hair or promote hair growth, it will make the hair a better target for the laser.  You may get even better long term results!  I would ask your provider and go with their recommendation, but I don't see a problem with it.
