Regret first session of laser hair removal. Need advice. Will my body hair ever be normal again?

I am a 20yr old man whose gotten full body laser hair removal. I was only look for some reduction not removal ( except for back and shoulders). I have had my first session and more hair has gone than i had expected. It has also come back somewhat patchy. Also some hair have grown back long and others are still short and stubbly. Will my body hair ever be normal again?

Hello,One treatment of laser hair removal is not going to permanently get rid of your hair. It may grow in slower or patchy at first, but eventually it will continue to grow in and become normal (assuming you do not move forward with anymore treatments). I wouldn't worry.

I highly doubt that after only one laser hair treatment you will have permanent reduction in all of your hair.  It should grow back in after 8 to 10 weeks.  Best, Dr. Green

I would guess that most of the hair which has been lost will fill in and you will hardly notice a difference form your baseline. Hair is pretty hard to permanently remove. The laser stunts growth in addition to stopping growth. Give it about 2 months and then you will see what it will be like. I like the Splenor X for laser hair removal. It has 2 wavelengths so it can treat all skin types and it is extremely fast.
