Could exercise reverse the effects of pulsed dye laser?

Question

I will be getting a PDL treatment of 8.75 joules at a pulse duration of 3-5ms. Is waiting 24 hours before exercising enough time? If I exercise after a PDL treatment, is it possible that the blood vessels treated could return to their original state/prominence? Could exercise reverse what the laser did?

Wow, with that setting of 3 ms, its a lot of energy in a short pulse duration. I usually tell patients to refrain from exercise for 48 hours if I am using even a moderate setting, but for this level, I would wait at least 3-4 days. Ice in the mean time. If you exercise too soon, redness and swelling will take longer to settle down. all the bestDr Davin Lim
