Can pulse dye laser treatment be used for a hemangioma on the lip if the lips are red?

I have a small hemangioma on the bottom of my lip. It's about pea size. Maybe a little smaller and I wanted to get pulse dye laser treatment done. However im afraid that it will cause discoloration of that spot on my lip.

Yes, PDL removes red spots, scars, and other dermatosis. One to three treatments will suffice for 90% of conditions and treatments should be done four to six weeks apart. The face is pink to purple for five days following a pulse dye laser treatment.

Do some people not have bruising from Pulse laser dye treatment?? If so, why not?

Not everyone gets bruising after a pulsed dye laser treatment.  Factors such as skin type, type of lesion treated and the laser settings can all influence whether bruising occurs or not.  I would wait a month or two and see how the redness looks.  It is possible that your...
