Have I done serious damage after bumping nose 1-month post rhinoplasty?

Its been roughly a month and 2 weeks after my rhinoplasty. I was out with my friends and one accidentally pushed me and I bumped my nose against a glass door. My nose did not bleed it was just swollen and throbbing. It has been 4 days since the bump and my nose is slightly bruised at the top and slightly swollen on the left side, which makes it appear as if my nose is slanted. I was wondering if I have done serious damage to my nose.

Thank you for the question! Unfortunately, it is rather difficult to give you a precise answer without an in-person exam. Even if you accidentally hit your nose, it will not necessarily cause damage to your results. The absence of pain or bleeding is certainly a good sign. At a 1 month and a half post-op, you are likely to have some swelling, but it's not uncommon and may take 9 to 12 months to completely resolve. In the meantime, you will likely see some contour irregularities.
That being said, I'd recommend alerting your plastic surgeon to your concerns. An in-person exam with a board-certified plastic surgeon is the best way to assess your needs and obtain expert medical advice. Best of luck!
