I had a mild acne flare up last month that left some hyperpigmentation. I want to do a chemical peel to get rid of the spots but I’m scared it’ll cause another flare up, right now my skin is relatively clear aside from a few hyperpigmentation spots. Would a chemical peel be recommended in this case or not?

You are going to want to wait 10 days or once you are completely done peeling from the peel. This is because you do not want to over exfoliate the area or cause the skin to come off sooner than it is ready to. By exfoliating too soon you could hyper sensitize your skin. Hope this helps!
