I have a lump in my breast - not sure if it is cancer. However I was wanting a breast reduction/lift and possible implants. Can a benign lump be removed during plastic surgery?
Answer: Breast Reduction Hello and thank you for your question. This is an issue you need to speak to your gynecologist and your plastic surgeon about. You may need to have some testing done prior to having surgery. Best wishes!

Answer: Bellesoma Breast Reduction Yes, a lump can be removed during the procedure. I would not recommend reduction/lift and implants. I would recommend a breast lift with reduction using The Bellesoma Method. This will reduce and reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. The weight of the breast is transferred to the underlying pectoralis major muscle resulting in pain relief without excessive reduction. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Lump Dear lisahackner, it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. Generally speaking, it sould be possible to remove lump in combination with breast reduction. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Removal of Lump During Surgery Hello! I recommend that you seek medical attention immediately to have your physician diagnose if this lump is breast cancer, as your treatment options will be dependent on these results. If the lump is benign, it may be possible to have it removed during your breast reduction/lift procedure, depending on what your surgeon recommends.
