The compression garment is important to wear because it will control any swelling that occurs after the procedure. You tend to swell more a few days post procedure, this is normal. In order to control swelling wear the compression garment and you will start to see a contour in your body’s shape.

It is not uncommon to have some swelling after lipsuction that can last 4-6 months. Bruising is extremely uncommon at this point.
