Absolutely! In fact I often recommend lighttherapy immediately following Fraxel in order to reduce side effects and minimizedowntime. Light therapy gently and effectively enhances DNA synthesis, andaugments cellular tissue regeneration. Depending on the wavelength utilized, aseries of light treatments can help to accelerate wound healing, rejuvenate andfirm the skin, kill acne causing bacteria, and even treat precancerous lesions. So yes, by all means, do maintain your Fraxel results through light therapysessions!
Yes, absolutely fine. No harm I did a split face study on 6 patients after all forms of fractional laser therapy including Fraxel, co2 fractional, erbium, microneedling, etc... one side occluded with cloth, other side exposed to light (used red in the 633 and also diode 810). I then tried to pick which side healed up the fastest (blinded study), did not see a difference, but it did not delay healing, so no harm done.
