There usually isn't bruising using the outer thigh applicator. The flat panel doesn't have suction so bruising is generally eliminated. Best of luck!
BecauseCoolSculpting – which uses cryolipolysis to freeze and destroy fatcells – has been such a popular and effective fat-eliminationprocedure, Zeltiq has come up with a number of applicators ofdifferent sizes and shapes. The applicator that we use to treat theouter thighs or flanks is the CoolSmooth. It is a flat panel thatdoes not apply suction to the treatment area so that many patients donot bruise at all. I have rarely seen very slight bruising with theCoolSmooth applicator, which resolved within one week. The mostcommon side effects with CoolSmooth are a slight reddening andperhaps some slight swelling or a tingling feeling. These all resolvewithin days. The results will take two to three months for the finaloutcome, so be sure to do your treatment soon, before summer. Pleasefind a board-certified dermatologist who has been certified by Zeltiqas a CoolSculpting practitioner to determine if you are a candidatefor this permanent fat-removal technique.
Bruising can occur occasionally with CoolSculpting but is not common. When it does occur, it would probably last about as long as any bruise would, approximately 5-10 days.
Thank you for your question. Bruising from the coolsculpting procedure can last for up to 2 - 3 weeks. Regards,

Bruising can last for weeks, venus legacy and cellutone/z wave can help improve the bruising more quickly. Best, Dr. Emer.
Thank you for your question. The handpiece used for the outer thighs is flat and does not use suction. Therefore, there should be no bruising associated with treatment. However, if you do experience bruising, it can last up to 2 weeks. If you have any other concerns please follow up with your treating physician. Best of Luck!
There typically is not much bruising associatedwith the Coolsculpting process especially with the flat paneled, non-suctionapplicator used to treat the outer thigh. If any bruising does occur it isusually minimal and can last anywhere from a few days to a couple of weeks dependingon how quickly your body heals
Thank you for your question. The applicator used for the outer thighs does not use suction, it is flat. Therefore, bruising is typically eliminated. However, if there is bruising, it can last up 2 weeks. Best of Luck!
When treating the thighs, I would likely choose the CoolSmooth applicator, which doesn't apply any suction to the area. The applicator is simply placed on top of the fat you want to remove. It may redden the skin, but shouldn't bruise it. The redness generally disappears after a few hours. Please visit a board-certified dermatologist for a consultation to find out if you are a candidate for CoolSculpting.
Thanks for your question and the simple answer is that after years of study, CoolSculpting does not cause any changes in blood enzymes or electrolytes and so this will not be the cause of your problem. I would speak with your primary care physician to make sure nothing is else is going on with you.
Thank you for your question. One of the great things about CoolSculpting is that it only treats the subcutaneous fat that is above the abdominal wall. This is a treatment that permanently removes the stubborn pockets of fat that are more superficial. So, an issue such as a splenic artery an...
Thank you for your question. There is more of a possibility of developing late-onset nerve pain with the first generation handpieces. However, this is more common with the larger handpieces. However, if you do develop nerve pain it can be treated with lidocaine patched or Neurontin. I recommend...
