Thank you for your question. Coolsculpting is non-invasive and does not affect internal organs. Performing the treatment is safe but I would still recommend consulting with your doctor before moving forward. Regards,
Coolsculpting should be safe since it only effects the fat under the skin. It won't have any effect on internal organs. Coolsculpting works quite well. We have had a variety of other body sculpting devices and Coolsculpting seems to work quite well just by itself. Andrew Campbell, M.D.Quintessa Aesthetic Centers
Yes, you can have coolsculpting, because it is performed externally and won't interfere with the spleen. For best results with Coolsculpting, I recommend a combination approach. I recommend adding radiofrequency treatments like Vanquish, Venus Legacy, Exilis Ultra for skin tightening and with Z wave/Cellutone for skin smoothing. VASER with ThermiRF is a great alternative. Dont' let distance dissuade you, see an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Thank you for your question. One of the great things about CoolSculpting is that it only treats the subcutaneous fat that is above the abdominal wall. This is a treatment that permanently removes the stubborn pockets of fat that are more superficial. So, an issue such as a splenic artery aneurysm, which is below the abdominal wall would not be affected. I would suggest that you check with your personal physician before having CoolSculpting and make sure that you are given the go ahead. You will love the smooth, natural looking and permanent results that CoolSculpting provides. Good luck with everything!
Thank you for your question. Coolsculpting should not affect your splenic artery aneurysm because it only draws the fat that is beneath the skin and in front of the abdominal muscles. However, if you have a hernia is the treated area, Coolsculpting should not be done. This is because the abdominal contents can be exposed to low temperature used in treatment. Please make sure to notify the person treating you that you have an aneurysm. Best of Luck!
Since an aneurysm is intraabdominal and Cool Scultping is done externally there should not be a do indication as to having this procedure .Please discuss this with your Plastic Surgeon during your consultation .
The CoolSculpting procedure will not have an impact on your aneurysm. The procedure will neither have a direct or indirect effect on the aneurysm, so you are safe to have it done. Hope this helps,Dr. Garry K. Kim
Thank you for your question. Since CoolSculpting only draws the fat that is beneath the skin and in front of your abdominal muscles it should not affect your splenic artery aneurysm. If you have a hernia in the area, CoolSculpting should not be done, not because of the aneurysm, but because abdominal contents could be exposed to the low temperature required to treat the fat. Make sure to tell whoever will be performing the CoolSculpt treatment that you have the aneurysm so that they are fully informed too. Good Luck
Hello maxster222,Thank you for your question. The fat to be treated by CoolSculpting is just under the skin and quite a distance from the spleen as well as all the contents of the abdominal cavity. Of course you should let the professional who will be performing the treatment know about your condition but this should not be problematic. Be well.
That will not make a difference. CoolSculpting is performed externally. It should have no direct effect on the area.
Thank you for your question. There is more of a possibility of developing late-onset nerve pain with the first generation handpieces. However, this is more common with the larger handpieces. However, if you do develop nerve pain it can be treated with lidocaine patched or Neurontin. I recommend...
CoolSculpting is a non- invasive body sculpting treatment that is designed to eliminate areas of stubborn subcutaneous fat. It is ideal for patients, just as yourself who are in good shape and of normal body weight (not obese) who are looking to target specific treatment areas. It works by...
During the preliminary studies of CoolSculpting, no one under the age of 18 years was enrolled. It is a very safe procedure and can potentially be used in patients under 18 years, if their body has ceased growing. For girls, that tends to be about 15 or 16, for boys about 16 to 17. However, in...
Thank you for your question. In most instances, there is very little chance of fat redistribution post treatment with CoolSculpting, unless the patient gains a considerable amount of weight. Based on the photo you have provided, it would appear that this is not a case of fat redistribution. ...
Hi DebiGat, thank you for your question. So sorry to hear that you have had an outbreak of shingles. In our experience having treated thousands of patients with CoolSculpting, we have not had one single case that resulted in shingles. However, as you may be aware, shingles is a...
Coolsculpting is not a good option for the chin area especially if the chin and neck is very chubby in appearance. Firstly coolsculpting needs multiple treatments if there is a lot of fat. Secondly fat in the neck may be under the muscle where coolsculpting cannot reach. There are better ...
