Hello, and thank you for your question. I don't want to say the risk is 0 with thread lifts, but the risk of blindness from a mid-face thread lift for jowls and frown lines would be extremely minimal. For more bang for your buck, I would suggest starting with filler in the cheek area however. It will help lift the face diminish the look of jowling and last longer. Good luck on your journey.
