Do I have to be awake during laser lipo?

I have been interested in Laser Lipo for some time and I've watched videos on how it's done. I get incredibly squeamish at the sight of it and I don't know if I can sit through the doctor doing that. Is there any way that I could be put to sleep during the surgery? I really want to do it, but I just can't handle the anxiety and the thought of being awake during that time.

Thanks for the question, in my practice I like to have patients "feeling good" instead of all the way asleep because a)its faster and safer and b) it has a significant cost savings to the patient. However, from time to time we take patients to the hospital and put them to sleep when they do not want to be awake at all

I have some patients that like to be awake and others who go to sleep.  see an expert.  There are many options for you.  I have stopped doing laser as i dont find it nearly as effective as ultrasound/VASER. Best, Dr. Emer.

Absolutely not......a BC PS should have the ability to put you to sleep in his facility....I also currently recommend liposuction combined with thermiTight...this is the most advanced skin tightening system on the market and the safest..I no longer perform laser lipo because this system has proved to be sooo effective.
