I just had my surgery Friday night. I got 530 cc gummy bear implants under the muscle on each side. I was maybe a 34 a before hand and I literally look like a B right now. Will they get bigger? Or is this as good as it's going to get? They are still sitting high but will they really actually push through my muscle and get bigger. I told the Dr I wanted a D minimum and she assured me it would get me there maybe even a DR but they look tiny.
Answer: Why do my breasts look so small after surgery? Hello and thank you for your question. At this point your breasts will not get larger than they are. However, as you noted, they are sitting high under the muscle, and it takes several weeks for your implants to settle into their final position. This could change the way you feel about the appearance and size of your breasts. So I would recommend following your post op instructions and giving it some time.Best of luck to you,Ruth Celestin, MD

Answer: Why do my breasts look so small after surgery? Thank you for the question. It is much too early to evaluate the results of surgery at this point. You should be aware that there are often “disappointments” with the results of breast augmentation (too big or too small) early after surgery; these disappointments often resolve as patients adjust to their new “body image”. Also, you will find that your breasts will change significantly over the course of the next few months.
Preoperatively,
I suggest to all my patients that they concentrate on achieving a certain “look”, not a specific cup size, with their breast augmentation surgery. In other words, my patients know not to base their communication and/or level of satisfaction with the results of surgery based on an arbitrary cup size that will vary from one bra store to another. Unfortunately, no plastic surgeon is able to accurately predict what cup size you will end up wearing after breast augmentation with a certain size implant. Again, in my opinion, it is best to set your goals and level of satisfaction with the results of surgery, on achieving a certain look/proportionality, not a specific cup size. After you have waited a few months to see the final results of surgery, don't be surprised if you are pleased with the results of surgery (regardless of cup size). If not, communicate your questions and concerns calmly with your plastic surgeon.I hope this helps.

Answer: Why do my breasts look so small after surgery? Starting off an A cup and putting in 530cc implants should result in a D cup so don't worry. They are high and tight right now because it has not even been quite a week out from your surgery. Be patient. Implants can take 3-6 months to settle (everyone is different), and they will eventually change shape and be fuller toward the bottom of your breast. Continue to follow up and see your surgeon, follow post-op instructions and don't get frustrated or worry, give it time. Re-evaluate in a few months and go from there! ac

Answer: Breast implants look small especially when placed under the muscle for the first few weeks after surgery Please do not be concerned. Give your breast implants time to settle and adjust to the shape of your breast and muscle. Breast implants always look constricted tight and high immediately after surgery. Most adjust to a nice full round appearance in the first 2-3 months.

Answer: Early Breast Augmentation Size Concerns Wile it is extremely early after your breast augmentation surgery, the one thing that time will not do is make the breasts bigger. You may find that with time you will not see them as so small. I would not pass final judgment on their size until at least six weeks after surgery.
