Hi AS.  Whether it's sun damage (lentigines) or a plaque like lesion (seborrheic keratosis), we are confident that using our q-switched lasers, we can get rid of it.  IPL is not a laser so in many cases, it cannot treat more difficult lesions like the one you have.  Q-switched lasers are designed for birthmark, tattoo and all forms of sun damage removal.  They are much more powerful and permanent than an IPL.  For examples of our Orange County patients that have been treated for sun damage with q-switched lasers, check the before and after pictures below.  Thanks.

Treatment depends on the diagnosis, and like Dr Kaplan suggest, if these are lentigines, Q Switch lasers will be effective. I think  that the initial diagnosis has been clouded by 3 IPL sessions and a light fractional laser session. Melasma is on the cards with the 3 rd photo. I personally would see some one for a full examination of your face, followed by bleaching cream.
