No, there is no risk of developing skin cancer through laser skin resurfacing treatments. If anything, laser skin resurfacing can help remove pre-cancerous lesions.

Thank you for your question and the photo.A pulsed dye laser tuned to 595 nm has a high specificity for the port wine stain. A Nd:YAG laser at 532 nm may work too. Both of these seek out the color red and have a more shallow absorption pattern.I don't recommend the use of an IPL or BBL machine...
