Under the Skin Nodules from Accutane?

I really don't know how to explain , accutane did clear me up preatty well after an very bad inital break out, i have only a few actives left and mabye 1 nodule , that's not the problem , now all my nodules from the IB entered my skin they are under my skin with redness on surface..My concern right now is : Will that nodule go away or it will flare up again?If it will go away when will the red mark , my face is full of them right now ,really ...when will they fade AWAY?

The nodule should go away on its own.  It is best to give your skin some time to
heal after the use of Accutane.  I’d
recommend approx. 6 months.  If you still
feel the nodule and have some redness then you may want to consult with a Board
Certified Plastic Surgeon and see what your options are.  This may be calmed with IPL treatments.

Thank you for your question. It is very common after cystic acne (large nodules under the skin) to leave reddish scars this is known as post inflammatory erythema. The scars will fade gradually over time however can take up to a full year to resolve. The best way to prevent worsening of the scars is to wear sunscreen with SPF 30 (preferably with zinc oxide) and to avoid sun exposure as this can darken the scars making them appear worse.
