What is the life expectancy of Hydrogel Butt Injections?

Complications such as hardening and sometimes much worse including migration, infection, embolization and even death are all well known and not only possible but probable after hydrogel injections for buttock augmentation.  Once the material is injected it can never be completely removed without severe deformity resulting.  I recommend consulting with a board certified plastic surgeon whom specializes in buttock augmentation as soon as possible to determine your best early options.  Glad to help.

The Hydrogel injected is of unknown origin and one would never be able to know what and where it was injected.A CT SCAN can determine where and how diffuse the injected material is in the buttocks. One can remove the majority of the injected material, but that will create deformities of the buttocks that will need further surgery to correct.Samir Shureih MD. FACSsshureih@msn.com
