Allow me to share with you some information that you may not hear elsewhere. There areonly two proven safe and relatively effective methods for Buttock Augmentation: 1) Autologous Fat Transfer (using your own fat, transferring from one area of the body to the other) and 2) Buttock Implants (semi-solid silicone rubber implants that cannot rupture &/orleak). Both are very good options so what it comes down to, like any surgery,is proper patient selection. Indeed because at least 50+ % of the fattransferred will melt away within a year, most patients are not good candidatesbecause they lack an adequate amount of fat to harvest. Another tip is that ifyou purposely gain weight (i.e. fat) for the procedure, the fat you lose firstas you get back to your baseline weight is that very same fat that wastransferred into your buttock...so don't fall victim to thisrecommendation. Although using your own fat is relatively safe, the oneserious complication that can rarely (< 1%) happen is "fatembolism" in which some of the fat gets into the blood stream and travelsup into the lungs, heart, and/or brain causing serious problems. Thiscomplication is more likely to happen with the larger amount of fat beingtransferred. This iseven more likely to happen when using fillers like PMMA and hyaluronic acids. Also fillers, when injected in large quantities, have a relatively hightendency to migrate away from the original area they were placed and tend tostimulate a lot of inflammation and a subsequent disastrous amount of scartissue/hardening.Thusbuttock implants become a very good, safe, and long term reliable optionfor most patients seeking buttock augmentation (at least in my practice). Iprefer to insert the buttock implants through a single 2 ½ inch long incisionover the tailbone (concealed within the crevice between the buttock cheeks). The buttock implant should always be placed under or within thegluteus maximus muscle. In this position, the implant is less palpable, lessvisible, and does not sag or shift/migrate over time unlike implants placed ontop of the muscle. Therefore it is extremely important to seek consultationwith a board certified plastic surgeon who specializes in this procedure. Andin this case too, at least in my surgical practice, the infection rate isminimized to ~5%. Glad to help.
Only fat should be injected into your buttocks. I have patients who come in to ask me to remove other injected materials every week.Try to research this to find the surgeon who consistently produces the results you would expect. Look at reviews on this site and see who gets the surgery right every time. Find a board certified plastic surgeon who performs hundreds of Brazilian buttlifts each year. Then look at the plastic surgeon's website before and after photo galleries to get a sense of who can deliver the results. Kenneth Hughes, MDLos Angeles, CA
Dear neisha, There are 2 types of injection to the butts in order to enlarge them: 1. Synthetic material which is illegal in the US due to too many complications and even fatalities that were published in the media in the last few years. 2. Fat injection or 'transfer' that unfortunately last only for 6 - 12 months as I have seen on many patients who came to my surgery center after disappointing fat injection to the butts by other surgeons. Think about it, if large amounts of fat injection would have been reliable and consistent, breast implants would have been out of the market... but they are not because the fat does not last. Your best option is butt implants which are safe and do not disappear. Always, consult with board certified plastic surgeons who do lots of butt implants surgery. Check their before and after pictures to make sure that you like the results because there are different shapes and sizes of implants as well as different techniques. Best of luck, Dr Widder
The short answer is NONE ! Save your money, no creams, lotions, pills, saves, or oils will make you buttocks look bigger. Implants or fat transfer are the best way to go . See below links for more info.

Fat transfer has a consistent survival rate of approximately 30-40% based on the harvest and separation technique. There is always some level of swelling after any surgery so there is some overcompensation and techniques that is typically done to take that information into account to get the d...
