It really should be based not on materials but doctors time and expertise... I think anything between $900-$1800 would be sensible range good luck Kevin Coughlin DMD, MBA, MAGD CEO Baystate Dental PC
Thank you for your question. I would ditto Dr. Coughlin, but narrow the range to $1000-1500 depending on the city you are in.Just for your knowledge, every dental crown is a custom work and outcome of treatment depends less on whether Emax or Zirconia is beingt used, but a lot more on the experience and expertise of the doctor, who is treating you.
It will vary from dental office to dental office and where you live. It usually depends on their overhead costs. In our office the price for a E-Max and Zirconia crown is the same. Our price is in the mid to low range of crown cost in our area, we typically see prices from $800 to $3000. Ask around, chances are you have a few friends that have had one of these crowns who can give you a recomendation for a dentist in your area. The most important thing is to make sure they are done right the first time.
Costs vary from state to state from city to city and even from county to county. The average cost of a crown in Los Angeles will be more then one in Omaha, and will be more in Beverly HIlls then in other parts of Los Angeles. The most important thing is to get a dentist you trust whose quality of work is exceptional.
There is No Such Thing as an "average cost". Costs vary widely, depending on the region of country, the experience and quality of the dentist and the laboratory used. Fees can cary from $900-$2900!
