My front tooth needed a crown and after the procedure I noticed the gap between the crown and my gums and I can see the back of my real tooth. Is this normal? The front of the tooth looks perfectly normal but will the back gap cause any hygienic complications? I also feel a bit of my bottom tooth touch the top crown when I chew but not when I bite, should I get this shaved down?
3rd time replacing my crown after a bad fall and it chipped 2 teeth including my front tooth.10 years passed and I recently experienced some gum leakages and sores on the front crown. I had a root canal done to 2 teeth, my dentist now decided to do one tooth at a time. After 2 months back and forward I decided to stick with this one but now Im doubting my decision there is gap and I can see my post will my gum cover the new crown? We already scraped one crown
My crown was placed and glued in place and then I noticed there was a chip in the corner which the dentist filled with composite. Do the margins of the crown look properly sealed? Or does it not reach the gum line? Do I need a new crown or will the composite that fixed the chip work just as well? What are my options?
I got 4 crowns on my four frontal teeth and the gums are below the level of the end of the crown also I have a gap between two of my teeth. Is there anything that can be done to make my gums grow all the way down and make my smile better?
I am noticing a large gap between the crown and gum, but am not sure if that is to be expected or can be improved aesthetically. This tooth had a crown lengthening procedure done, which I am unsure was the right decision. There was a biologic width violation with the prior crown (see x-ray), but wonder if there was a more conservative watch and wait approach.
I had a root canal down and my tooth in front and they put the crown on and its like, gappy and I feel like its too crooked I really thought it would be straighter after having this done. I feel like it still looks just as bad as before. Gapped and slightly discolored. I absolutely hate it. Can this be fixed? Or how would it even be fixed?
I got my dental crowns last year. I decided to get them due to a gap in between my natural teeth. It was all okay in the start but now the gap has started to open in-between my lower dental crowns. Also, even after a year, I get clicking sound from my front crowns and occasional bleeding. Please suggest something to end this torture of getting dental crowns.
Hi, I have about a 2.0 to 3.0 upper midline deviation. I have just had my canines and central lateral incisors removed due to 20 year old root canals needing to be taken out. I plan to fix my gaps with crowns/bridge work. Hoping they can help straighten my smile enough to where its perfect or close enough :) Do you think it could be done?
