I had dental cleaning, will the movement of opening and closing my mouth during the 30 min. Procedure affect my massetters?

At one month out, you should likely be fine getting a dental cleaning without affecting the Botox in your masseters. Good luck. 

I would not recommend doing dental teeth cleaning in the few days and up to one week after botox masseter injections as there are theoretical concerns that the product can shift but having any procedure in the facial area after one month follwing Botox treatments should be fine.I hope that helps and best regards, Dr. Sapijaszko.

Thank you for your questions. This should not affect your Botox results, or affect the size of your masseter muscles. It is a limited amount of time and without much force being exerted.  Hope this helps

In the week after the procedure I don't recommend doing any excessive animation, however a month after it should be fine. If you have any problems with the product and possible spreading, contact the injector and have it addressed immediately.Thank you for your question.Kate Ross, MD
