I'm experiencing frequent throbbing headaches after having a tummy tuck.

I'm 4 days post-op but the headaches have been happening so since day 3. I am wondering if I'm wearing my compression garment too tight.

Hello,I suspect that you may need to wait a couple more months wearing standard, surgeon recommended compression before applying something very constrictive. I recommend that you have your Plastic Surgeon review it and advise you.Take care

Thanks for your question.  I would recommend discussing this issue with your PS since they know exactly the procedure performed, the tightness of the wound closure, etc.  In my practice the majority of patients are walking normally within 5-7 days of the operation but there is variability.

Hello,It sounds as if your drain is blocked and so fluid will bypass or stay inside you. If milking the drain does not work for you, you need to be seen by a qualified Plastis Surgeon for  post op care and instruction. If you cannot reach your original Surgeon for some reason then I advise...
