If my body rejects piercings, will it put me at a higher risk for cc?

You have skin reactivity to certain metals, like an allergy. This should have no relationship to capsular contracture. The scarring from your abdominal procedure should not be related as well.while we do not have a complete understanding about curation of contractures, your concerns should not be an issue.

I am not aware of any documentation that patients who have an allergic reaction to piercing also have a higher risk of capsular contractions. 

Sadly, it is impossible to predict who is at risk for capsular contracture. However, your skin sensitivity shouldn't put you at a higher risk than anyone else. I am assuming that you've shared your concerns with your surgeon. If not, make sure that you do so. Good luck with your breast augmentation in December. I'm sure they're going to look great!

Skin sensitivity to certain metals (usually nickle) has no bearing on capsular contracture.  Scar tissue associated with the skin is a different process than scar tissue tightening around an implant. 

So you're a bit of a keloid former.  You may think that would increase risk for capsular contracture, but the way your skin scars and the formation of the breast capsule are different.  Having said that, bigger implants do carry a higher risk of complications, including contracture.  Don't go too big -- many will go on to regret it.

Unfortunately the exact etiology of capsular contracture(CC) isn't precisely elucidated.  There are some major schools of thought regarding causation of CC but none of their speculations are watertight.Your history sounds like you have a sensitivity to nickel often used in costume jewelry and to my knowledge there is no correlation between capsular contracture and patients with hypertrophic scars.  It would be awesome to be able to predict who is at risk for capsular contracture preop but we aren't there yet.  Best wishes with your breast augmentation.
