When making an assessment on someone who’s had previous procedures we need to know what procedures they’ve had in the past and we need to see before and after pictures. A BBL is probably your best option but your wish picture has a very different body than your own. Without making judgments I believe the picture in your wish picture as someone who is substantially younger than yourself. I suggest having a few win consultations with local board certified plastic surgeons about liposuction and fed transfer procedures. That said, delivering quality results consistently for liposuction and fat transfer is more difficult than people believe so to get a quality result like the one you’re hoping for you need to decipher which one of the providers in your community is talented enough to deliver those type of results. Doing that is easier said than done. The best way I can think of is to schedule a lot of different in person consultations at which time you ask each provider to show their entire collection of before and after pictures. When looking at before and after pictures make absolutely sure the after pictures are taken at least three months from the day of the procedure since early pictures can be very impressive but do not at all represent final results. Ask the provider to show excellent outcomes, average outcomes and less than outcomes. Sing a handful of selected example pictures which in fact are the best results of that provider‘s career gives you no idea of what average results will look like in their hands. It also gives you no reassurance of how many procedures they’ve performed. An experienced provider should have no difficulty showing you 50 or more sets of before and after pictures for a gluteal fat transfer procedures. Highly experienced providers will in fact have hundreds or possibly thousands of before and after pictures for that single procedure. Lastly, I recommend reading all the reviews on various physics and review websites and avoiding providers for the new significant number of justified negative reviews. The absence of justified negative reviews is more important and more telling than having an abundance of positive reviews. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
