it is really hurting my self esteem, I feel as if people turn away when they look at me. I also heard about fillers and mid face hypolasia but I'm not sure

It sounds like you have inherited bulgy eyes. Nonetheless, you should see an oculoplastic specialist for evaluation. The most effective treatment to make the eyes less bulging would be orbital decompression surgery. Another less effective option would be orbital rim implant. See link below for more information.

The prominence of your eyes is apparent due to the relative lack of boney support around them. The cheek bone (and also your lower jaw) is weak and give the appearance of bulging eyes. Seek a professional who will rules out thyroid disease. Next the choice of implants the your cheek and chin would offer dramatic change placing these in proportion to your facial features.
