Juvederm lip injections, no results? 1 week p.o. (photos)

Question

Hello I was wondering how far a syringe goes. I told the plastic surgeon I wanted my lips evened out because my right side is a bit smaller and I wanted a bigger top lip. Well exactly a week later and the swelling is down and no difference. What do most offices do, would I be able to get a refund or more done since the doctor decided not to use the whole syringe and throw the rest of the 3ccs (or unite) away?

Thank you for sharing your question and photographs. Depending on the Juvederm product used, most patients will need 1-2 syringes to achieve their goal result.  What has likely happened is that the swelling from treatment is resolving, and the loss of volume is noticeable. I would review with your injector your goal results to discuss how much filler will be needed.  Costs vary by practice but in general you will only pay for the additional material used.  Hope this helps.
