At least from the photo provided, it would appear that the darkness under the eyes that troubles you is largely a result of the fact that there is a linear depression there which is contributing to the darkness, much like in nature there can be darkness in a deep canyon due to the shading.
To see if this is at work with with you, simply pull the skin taut with your finger. If the darkness become less when the depression is elevated, then the use of an appropriate HA filler designated for treating the unde-eyes can be injected to elevate and smooth the depression and lessen the darkness that disturbs you.
In the meantime, the regular use of sunscreen, and a topical retinoid may help over an extended period of time to brighten the skin.
