Picoway or Fotona QX MAX for medium brown cosmetic tattoo laser removal? (Photo)

Hi Doctors, I'm of east asian background. Earlier this year I got a beauty spot tattoo which turned out a lot darker than I wanted and in the wrong spot. It looks like a blackhead and from certain angles, a weird growth from my eye. I want to get this removed but am concerned about scarring and hyperpigmentation from acid removal. I can't find a place that is willing to remove this with laser and I am absolutely devastated. Because I'm Asian and I know brown cosmetic pigments can oxidise into weird colors, I'm paranoid about the spot becoming red, yellow, or black with laser. But this thing really needs to go. Is Picoway laser or Fotona QX MAX recommended for my case?

Yes there is chance of hair loss but not permanent. you need to start latisse and roller use daily on the brows and proper post tattoo removal skincare to prevent any issues, PRP injections should be done as well (see link). Best, Dr. Emer.

Hi, Great question. Depending on your skin type on the Fitzpatrick Scale from I - VI you may be a good candidate to treat that spot with Pico Way. A better choice would be to use the Zoom handpiece to spot treat and pick the appropriate and safe wavelength based on your skin type. Warmer...
