I’ve had a lip injury, had to get stitches. Ended up with an even lumpy lip. I’ve recently fainted and busted my lip. My teeth went into my lower lip on the inside and ended up with a wound. I had to get my lip stitched now the wound is healed, however my lip is now lumpy and uneven. I can feel the bump on the inside against my teeth and it feels large. It’s very irritating and I am embarrassed to smile. How do I fix this and have my smile back to the way it was. Do in need to consult a plastic surgeon?

Thank you for your photo. Any divets or deformities left after mucocele excision can be corrected with injectable lip filler. It is also possible that the bump is some residual mucocele gland in your lip which may also have to be removed to make the area appear more smooth. Hope this...
It is difficult to see any significance asymmetry from this photo. An in-person or even virtual online consultation would be worthwhile. There are many approaches to correcting lip asymmetries...from fillers to surgery. However, one must always consider the risk/benefit and costs vs. the degree ...
It appears to me as though a scar revision could be done to improve the scar on your lower lip after your accident. This would be a fairly minor procedure that could be done in the office. I would consult with a facial plastic surgeon or plastic surgeon.
