10 days after dysport and I can't see any results. Why is this?

After 10 days, most patients will be seeing Dysport results.  Some patients require more units of Dysport than others, but this dosing varies from one person to the next.  I tell my patients that the lines, in some cases, may never completely disappear if the lines are very deep initially. In almost all cases, the lines will soften over time with repeated injections every few months as the skin remodels while it is no longer being repeatedly creased by dynamic muscle movement.

Thank you for your question. You are correct; Dysport results are usually seen around day 3 and the full effect is seen around day 14. If you aren’t satisfied with your results by day 14, I recommend you follow up with your Board Certified Plastic Surgeon to discuss options. Additional injections may be given at two weeks to touch up.

Results are generally evident after one week and should be visible at the 10 day mark. Thank you for your question.  By 10 days, you should see a result.  I would recommend that you visit your injector.  It is possible that the dose or technique was insufficient.

There are many reasons you may not be seeing a result at this time. Its possible that it just has not taken effect yet being only 10 days out, but it also could be a result of improper injection technique, underdosing, use of expired product among others. If you are unhappy with your results you should go back and see your injector. Hope that helps!

People with fast metabolisms generally "burn through" their neurotoxins and fillers faster than those with a normal metabolism. There is a 3rd brand of botulinum toxin A (Botox Cosmetic® and Dysport® being the 1st and 2nd) named Xeomin®. Everyone should try all 3 to see which suits their individual preferences the best.

We typically tell patients that it can take up to 14 days to see Dysport results.  However, we find that most patients see their results in about a week.  I would recommend following up with the provider that performed your injections at the 2 week mark.  You may need more units of Dysport.  Thank you for your question.

Thank you for your question.  After 10 days post your initial Dyport treatment to the areas that you have specified, results should have already been seen, provided the correct technique and dose was used during your treatment. I would recommend that you follow up with your injecting practitioner to review your results and perhaps consult another expert in the field for a second opinion. It would also be helpful to get a clear understanding of the dose and dilution of the Dysport used as a reference when considering future treatments.
