Thank you for your time and insight. I received 50 units of Dysport injected into the 5 points across the lower forehead to alleviate frown lines. 10 days later, the impact was minimal; therefore, I received an additional 15 units . The 15 were concentrated on the left side which is where the most severe line is. After receiving a total of 75, i have significant movement in my eyebrows with very little effort, and can actively frown. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Respectfully Lia
Answer: Dysport results Thank you for your questions and photo. Dysport and botox both work on dynamic lines, not static lines. You need to be examined by a board certified injector for full evaluation and best treatment course. Best Wishes.

Answer: Dysport not working? It would be helpful to know if you are trying to frown in the second set of pictures. The number of units of Dysport you received is adequate to stop most movement in most patients for the vertical glabellar wrinkles. I have seen this a few times with my patients. Usually in this case I switch to a different neuromodulator like Botox or Xeomin. I know they are all essentially chemically the same, but like Coke vs Pepsi, sometimes I find a particular product works better for a particular patient. Also, it is possible that there was a problem with that vial of Dysport (but unlikely). Either way, know that deep lines visible at rest will not go away immediately after Dysport or Botox. It will gradually improve over a few months. A filler, as others have suggested, will also offer more immediate improvement.

Answer: Frown lines with Dysport It would be helpful to know whether you are trying to frown or not in your photos. If you're not trying to frown and still see the lines, it is unlikely that additional Dysport will help you. Instead, you may want to add a filler like Restylane in the frown lines. This will help the frown lines that appear even when you're not frowning. If you try to frown and there's not much movement, i.e. your frown lines don't deepen, then the Dysport is working.

Answer: Results after Dysport The deep lines that are there at rest won't be significantly better with Dysport. The Dysport works on muscle movement. Static wrinkles, one's at rest, aren't affected too much. I have seen these get better over a period of about 9 months with 3 treatments or more of Dysport. If wanting quicker results, filler can be placed there but there are additional risk, and therefore I rarely inject this area with filler.
