What is the recovery time for subfascial Motiva implant placement?

Hi, I am a professional classical singer and massage therapist in training. I have a breast augmentation potentially scheduled on 16 May and a concert scheduled on 7 June. Is this recovery time too tight? What is the recovery period like for a subfascial BA and when can I expect to sing again? Is 3 weeks to soon to fly internationally? Thanks for your help! Female, 33, 175cm (5’9”), 68kg (150lb)

Our responses here are heretic and for our patients. It is best you direct your questions to your surgeon. That said, everyone’s pain threshold is different. Subfascial and subglandular implant placement allows for a more rapid recovery than subpectoral, sub-muscular, or dual plane placement.

Singing three weeks after your surgery is probably safe, but dancing and other exercise in my practice is recommended no sooner than four weeks after surgery.

Barring any complications traveling after three weeks should be ok but care should be taken to avoid heavy lifting, etc. best of luck to you.

Good morning, upon reviewing your question and your area of performance, I suggest that you have a few more weeks of recovery for any eventuality, since you work with your abdomen and chest when singing and the effort can cause pain or the formation of fluid that It is called a seroma as a complication and this surgery is programmed. In addition, the use of the bra is for a space of 4 to 6 weeks and that can limit it so much. Although the subfascial technique is one of the least painful, I suggest that it be performed with a laser to improve the inflammation process and not delay your recovery. I hope you consider this opinion.
