Infini RF and dental braces: contraindication or not?

Question

Are dental braces a contraindication for Infini RF treatment? Can metallic structure of the braces interfere with radio-frequency and spoil/lessen the Infini impact? If it can, is it possible to apply Infini RF with a caoutchouc separator put on the braces?

The infini device works only on the skin. The needles only penetrate the dermis and not deep into the underlying soft tissue. For this reason, this device will have no affect on your braces. I would not do this shortly after brace tightening since the pressure from the device on your skin, could cause some soft tissue soreness. Braces will not lessen the affect of the infini or interfere with the radio frequency.

The braces should not affect the treatment. This is because the RF is bipolar with Infini and the energy goes between the needles/electrodes. It may be a theoretic concern in patients undergoing a monopolar RF treatment such as Thermage, but I haven't heard of problems with these either.
