How long does the Botox fluid itself last in the system/ blood? I’ve heard that it leaves through the urine after 1-3 days?

Botox binds to the muscle receptors, it does not travel freely through the bloodstream.  While Botox is not recommended for women who are pregnant due to lack of studies, chances are that your baby will not be affected by your Botox treatment.

Botox is a protein that binds to receptors in the treated area.  If injected properly, the Botox should not be moving around your system and what was injected should have bonded to protein receptors.  Additionally, given the amount of time that passed between your injection and when you got pregnant, you do not have anything to worry about.

Botox would concentrate on the muscles/area where it was injected. So very little will remain in your bloodstream and it does slowly metabolize. Botox is not tested on pregnant or breastfeeding subjects because we prefer to err on the safe side. That said, you can relax and welcome your pregnancy with confidence.

As a conclusion, Botox is marked as Grade C for use. Who there are no studies that have been done on pregnant woman. Do not worry, Botox acts only in the area injected, although there are no studies, but I have heard a lot of womans who were pregnant and they got injected with not problems to the baby. For sure, I dont recommend injecting pregnant woman, but I still think that botox only act in the muscle and it does not goes in the blood.
