What surgeries would I need to make my eyes more aesthetically pleasing?
Answer: How to refresh the eyes Thank you for your question. Based on your photo, it appears you might be a good candidate for upper blepharoplasty. This surgical procedure removes excess skin and small fat deposits from the upper lid to open the eye and create a more awake appearance. I perform this procedure using local anesthesia in most cases, with incisions in the natural creases of the lid to minimize visible scarring afterward. Patients are back to regular activities within about one week. I encourage you to schedule a consultation with an experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon who can assess you in person and create a customized treatment plan that meets your needs and goals best.

Answer: Eyelid Surgery Based on this one photograph you appear to have excess skin of the upper eyelid in addition to ptosis. Ptosis is a true drooping of the eyelid where the the eyelid margin encroaches on the pupil compromising peripheral vision. If this is your resting eyelid position then surgical repair can be considered. This would entail removing a small amount of excess skin and a tightening of the levator muscle to open the eyelid making the eyes more bright eyed. Consulting with an oculoplastic surgeon would be a great place to learn more about this very delicate and specialized procedure and see if it makes sense for you.
