Is it normal to have pain 5 months after breast implants? (photos)

It is not normal to have pain 5 months after having a breast augmentation. Usually there will be some mild discomfort for a few days after surgery.  Sometimes as the nerves heal you may experience some intermittent tingling or electrical shock sensations. Most patient are back to normal within one week and have resumed all of their normal exercise activities by six weeks after surgery. From your description it sounds like you might have capsular contracture which can cause the breasts to feel hard and can also cause pain.  You should follow up with your surgeon so they can determine what the issue is and how best to treat it.

Thanks for your inquiry. You could be developing an early capsular contracture with pain this far out post op.  You would need to get evaluated by your plastic surgeon to confirm this. Hopefully you get feeling better. Good luck.

Sorry you are experiencing these issues 5 months after surgery. I am concerned that maybe you have developed some early capsular contracture.  However, without an exam there is no way of determining online.  Please see your surgeon to get evaluated and get to the bottom of why you're in such discomfort.
